My first apartment in Corona, Queens, NY. We lived in an awful basement that I couldn't stand up straight in, and which smelled vaguely of natural gas. When I lived there it was just me and my trainer but I'm told it housed as many as 6 missionaries at one time.

The bottles on the fridge are a mild barley drink called Malta which the missionaries were fond of but which tastes nasty and contains a small amount of alcohol. They justified with a story that supposedly the mission president drank one once. I never did. It's entirely possible the story was true though. Technically D&C 89:17 permits Malta, depending on how you interpret it.
